To be honest I had forgotten that I had started this blog.
Having found it again I think now is time to update you on my adventures.
I began the blog in September 2015 while I was still employed working at Travis Perkins as an Assistant Manager. Like a lot of people I had become bored of the corporate way of working.
At the beginning of December 2015 I took the big step and handed in my notice, my thinking was this will give me a new fresh start for 2016.
Monday 4th January 2016 arrived and my new journey began, It was a great feeling being back in charge of my own destiny.
Over the past two years lots of exciting things have happened –
Joined Dulux Select Decorators
Became Approved Contractors for Repaircare
Refurbished my Office
Worked at Sotherbys
Started to Spray finishing selected interiors
Moved from Oil to Water based paint finishes
Invested in new Dustless Sanding Equipment
Attended the Farrow and Ball Decorators training day
Joined Checkatrade
Trained to Install One Piece Wall Murals for Vista Digital
Product testing new paint formula’s for Akzo Nobel / Dulux paints
Upgrade my Van
My first employee
Won Dulux Select Decorator of the Year 2018
And much more to tell you about.
My aim now is to update my blog regularly (well more than once ever 3 years lol)
